When You Go

As always, right-click here to download the mp3. Of you can download just the piano track by itself.

Here’s a MIDI file that I made while working out the arrangement. This isn’t quite the same as the performance in the video, but the data might be useful to someone.

Here he comes again!

Just lovely – any chance of you creating sheet music for that?

Maybe someday. It’s not on my to-do list currently, though.

No worries – I appreciate that you’ve put both versions out there. Maybe someday I’ll take a crack at figuring it out on my own. Really well done! :)

I put out a MIDI file that might be helpful for someone wishing to craft sheet music.

Fantastic job! And I’m talking about the piano work, the mixing, AND the video editing. It’s all great.

Really great work… thanks!

Very nice job! I’m working on a “When You Go” project myself and found this in my search. The source file download on JoCo’s site is 404′d, so I may use your piano track for my project.

With credit, of course :)

Amazing. This and your long JoCo medley are currently being endlessly replayed at my place! I’m extremely interested in the collaborative cover group Mandelbrot Set, I would love to help wherever I could. My recording setup is pretty amateur-ish, but I could provide MIDI’s from my keyboard. My piano skills are nothing compared to yours, but I like to think I have some creative potential. I’m also very familiar with drum programming, if that’s needed.

I just released a JoCo-ish song, it was created yesterday with my aforementioned amateur recording setup. It can be found here: http://www.tshaddox.com/?p=121 . I would love to hear what you think of it if you have time. That is my site, there are also some other compositions of mine there, if you’re ever EXTREMELY bored ;)

Beautiful!
The video is just the icing on the cake; the piano is a perfect match for JoCo’s song.

BTW: cool Tron theme. I bet you already know about TR2N, do you?

This is absolutely stunning! I’m also a pianist (though nowhere near as good as you), and I was just about to learn this one when I found this! I found you on YouTube from this cover, and I have to say both this one and your medley of JoCo songs are amazing! You definitely do his songs justice.

I would love to hear more of your music… it’s 2:30 AM here (:P) so I’ll definitely be coming back to the site tomorrow and see if I can’t find more!

Again, great work!
