I entered this songwriting contest, but I’m currently losing.

If you’re not too busy, head over here to listen to all the entries and vote for your favorites. If you are too busy, then just go there and vote for me.

Well, I listened to all the entries. And I loved “One Little Happy Thought.” Very funny. I’ve listened to it several times. But I voted for myself. But it doesn’t matter. Molly Lewis is kicking out collective butts! I can’t think of a nicer person to be pwned by.

Voted for Molly.

Your entry’s getting “Bleeding Edged” on the Mad Music Dementia Top 20 this weekend :)

Hey – I voted for you as one of my five, but actually probably my favourite or a very close second. Good work, and looking forward to your next one!

Voted for you. But not feeling the voice effects.
The 2012 crack made me lol.

Hey! We miss you!

Sorry to see that you’re not represented in this round of Song Fu. Everything alright?

Well, things aren’t great, to be honest. Danielle and I split up and we moved into separate homes. Getting set up in the new house has taken much longer than I’d hoped it would. When round two came around all my equipment was still in an unruly heap in the garage. The stress has made creative endeavors all the more challenging.

Because you’re the only person to notice my absence, I’ll be sure to cast a vote for Extreme Madlibs. :)

Bummer! Sorry, man — that’s tough.

I hope things work out for you in the end. Maybe we’ll hear from you again in MoSF4?

:-)

I noticed, but I’m not in the competition. It took me too long to listen to all of the songs to vote, but out of all of the songs I heard, yours by a long shot was my favorite. Witty lyrics, a singable melody, a nice, appropriate tempo and good contrast made for quite a lovely song that has been trapped inside the sofa that is my head, much to the chagrin of my family. :)
